Ankush Sachdeva, ShareChat CEO, rolled out his social media platform in January 2015, with his IIT-Kanpur mates Bhanu Pratap Singh and Farid Ahsan. Analogous to Facebook, Ankush’s Share Chat has so far incorporated 14 local Indian languages in its app, including Malyalam, Rajasthani, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Harayanvi, Assamese, Punjabi, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Bhojpuri and Kannada. The multi-lingual social media app has deliberately done away with English as an option, encouraging users to interact in their own language and share videos, images, audios, jokes, etc.
Ankush has found support from some major investors like SAIF Partners and Xiaomi in this journey. In near future, he would focus on monetizing its services. But before that happens, he wants to boost users’ activities by offering them exciting features, such as instant messaging, a variety of chat options, etc.

Wiki Trivia on Ankush Sachdeva – Age, Interests, & More
Ankush (age 28) from Ghaziabad met Farid Ahsan and Bhanu Pratap Singh at a hackfest or hackathon. All of them came from IIT-Kanpur. Their common passion for product development united them to try something new. They created almost 14 to 16 products, comprising a crime data analyzer for the Police department in Delhi. But none of those worked. After a series of failures, the trio finally tasted their first success in the form of their social media platform ShareChat.
