As MobiKwik CEO, Bipin was deeply involved in every facet of the company, right from coding to customer support to marketing. Today, he aspires to expand the reach of his e-wallet services to a billion Indian users in next coming years, by providing them with one-tap solution for payments, investments, loans, and insurance.
The e-wallet major MobiKwik has received funding from Sequoia Capital, American Express, Bajaj Finance, Net1 and others.

Before founding MobiKwik, Bipin was a System Architect at Freescale Semiconductor firm from May 2007 to June 2009. From January 2006 to April 2007, he worked as Platform Architect at NVIDIA. Prior to joining NVIDIA, he was a Training Facilitator at Janaagraha from 2006 to 2007, and Sr. Designer Engineer at Intel from 2002 to 2005.
Bipin Singh is an IIT-Delhi alumnus. He studied Electrical Engineering from there between 1998 and 2002.

Bipin’s wife Upasana Taku, an alumnus of Stanford University, is also the Cofounder of the payments company. The couple have one son. Singh’s father had a book shop in Rourkela, Odisha. But due to 1984 Sikh riots, his family had to shift their base to Delhi to start fresh. He wanted to study in IIT, but despite clearing the entrance exam in 1997, he could not take admission there because of lack of funds. However, undeterred by that, next year he reappeared for the test, took admission, and gave tuition to fund his own education. Singh’s age is 39.
