Tony Xu’s food delivery company started as a business school project when he was doing business studies from a reputable American university. It was named PaloAltoDelivery.com initially. When DoorDash was still in the fledgling stage, he joined Domino’s Pizza and FedEx as delivery driver to learn more about food delivery service.
