Even after experiencing a couple of failures on work front, Freshworks CEO Girish did not give up on his entrepreneurial spirit, and remained determined and focused on his path. Before the inception of Freshworks, Girish was at Zoho Corporation, which was rebranded from AdventNet Inc. There he joined in August 2001 and continued till October 2010. During his almost a decade long stint, he performed various roles from senior positions, right from Lead Engineer to Product Manager and Director to VP Product Management. Prior to joining Zoho, he was a Sr. Software Engineer at eForce Inc from July 2000 to July 2001, and Member Technical Staff at HCL Cisco ODC from February 1999 to April 2000.
Girish is from Campion Higher Secondary School. From there, he went to Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy for BE in Electrical & Electronics in 1992. After that, he did MBA in Marketing from University of Madras.
