Gillian (age 48) considers her parents as her role models. From her father, she learnt the value of workplace ethics, while her mother helped her to be a creative and entrepreneurial person. She looks at failures as an opportunity for growth and learning. An avid travel and technology enthusiast, Tans’ inspiration is Jeff Bezos (Amazon CEO).
She lives with her family including three children and husband in Amsterdam. When she is at home, she wakes up at 6:15 in the morning to cook for her kids. Tans, who loves traveling, takes two-week long vacation in summer, one-week holiday in winter, and a few days off in the month of May.
