The current CEO, Chairman, and President of the company, Steve Kandarian’s journey with MetLife began in 2005 when he was elected to the position of its EVP and CIO. Between 2007 and 2012, he was involved in company’s enterprise-wide strategy, which helped it in its global expansion. Other than that, from 2001 to 2004, he was with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) as Executive Director. Before joining PBGC, he ran a PE firm Orion Partners, LP as one of its Founders and Managing Partner. Prior to that, he worked at Lee Capital Holdings as Managing Director.
